City Parks___________________________________________________________________

This park is the centerpiece of Pearland's Parks and Recreation Department.
Independence Park is located at the end of Liberty Drive at the intersection
with John Lizer Road. Among its many offerings are:

• 4 lighted tennis courts
• 50-meter pool (Available for Rental)
• 2 restroom facilities
• BBQ shelter (Available for Rental)
• Rotary Park Playground
• 9 picnic units located around the park
• 1.2 mile hike and bike trail
• .3 mile lighted walking path

Centennial Park (46 acres)

This 46 acre park includes:

• 3 Lighted basketball courts
• 4 Lighted tennis courts
• .7 mile jogging trail
• 4 Softball Fields
• A pond
• 2 Picnic pavilions (Available for Rental)
• 2 Playgrounds
• 3 Large Soccer Fields

Southdown Park (11.91 acres)

Pearland's newest park, nestled on the west side of town, is easily accessible from 518 and Hwy 288. Southdown Park is the perfect spot for your whole family, two and four legged alike! Its many offerings include:

Aaron Pasternak Memorial Park (0.75 acres)
2402 Parkview Drive

This small neighborhood park is located along Mary's Creek in the Parkview neighborhood, This park offers a playground, jogging trail, picnic area with table(s), a drinking fountain and benches for those who just want to sit and watch the more energetic at play.

Hyde Park (1.3 acres)
2221 Westminster Drive

This small neighborhood park located in Banbury Cross, offers a playground and a covered pavilion,  There is a 1/6 mile of paved walking/jogging path, excellent for a taking a relaxing stroll among its grove trees.  Wheelchair accessible picnic tables and park benches are available along the path, as well as a drinking fountain.

Pine Hollow Park (1 acre)

This small neighborhood park located in Pine Hollow offers a playground, a basketball court and a covered pavilion,  There is a paved walking/jogging path, excellent for a taking a relaxing stroll.

Woodcreek Park (6 acres)

This park, located in the Woodcreek neighborhood, has a playground area, picnic tables and plenty of shade.

Shadow Creek Ranch Nature Park 
Kingsley Drive

This natural area has a walking trail through a wetlands area.  There is interpretive signage throughout.

Zychlinski Park (1.25 acres) 
2243 Grand Blvd.

This small park, located in the Old Town Center area, has a playground area, a paved walking path, picnic tables, a basketball court and a drinking fountain.  It is also home to a monument dedicated to those that have served and gave their lives for this country in their military service.

Residents of all ages enjoy a wealth of outdoor recreational opportunities within Pearland:

• 4 golf courses (3 public; 1 private)
• 1 city pool
• 8 tennis courts
• 4 adult softball fields
• 7 soccer fields

In addition, there are two, school-based recreation centers and a YMCA.
