Manufacturing

Pearland has long been known for its strong base of manufacturing companies. The greater Houston region is home to nearly 4,000 manufacturers that employ almost a quarter-million skilled workers. In 2009, more companies chose the Houston Region to manufacture their products than any other U.S. city. This concentration of manufacturers is a direct result of an experienced and committed workforce and readily accessible suppliers and multi-modal transportation.
